How does it work?

I offer 1-hour solo and group walks. Group walks are with a maximum of 3 dogs. Walks include 1 full hour of walking time, plus pick up and drop off at your home.

I also offer drop-ins where I can check on your dog, take them outside for a toilet break and make sure that they have their meal/treats/cuddles.

Where do you walk?

Walks are in public spaces in and around the Norwich area.

What areas do you cover?

I’m based in NR2, but will collect across Norwich and surrounding areas including NR1, NR2, NR3, NR4, Golden Triangle, Eaton, Cringleford, Bowthorpe, Costessey, Hellesdon, Old Catton and Sprowston. If you’d like to check if you’re in my catchment area, please get in touch.

When are you open?

Walks are either in the morning or the afternoon on weekdays, and in the morning on Saturdays. On Sundays, I usually enjoy a day off with my own dog, but if your dog needs a walk or drop in on Sundays or outside of the usual times and days, please contact me to discuss.

When are you closed?

I am closed on bank holidays. I usually take a break in July, September and Christmas/New Year. I’ll always give you as much notice as possible of any closures and in some instances can organise cover from another trusted walker.

How much does it cost?

Solo walks are £20 per dog. Weekday group walks are £15 per dog. Saturday group walks are £20 per dog. Drop ins are £10.

£1 from every walk is donated to Dogs Trust.

How can I pay?

You can pay by bank transfer, or by cash if you prefer. Payment can be monthly or weekly but must be made before the walk.

What happens in extreme weather?

If it’s too hot or cold to safely walk your dog, I will give you as much notice as I can. If it is still safe for me to travel, I will continue to offer drop ins.

Can you pick up/drop off my dog at a particular time?

Morning walks and drop ins start from 9am; afternoon walks and drop ins start from 2pm. I am unable to guarantee a specific time of arrival, though I guarantee a one hour walk.

How often does my dog need to attend?

At least once a week is usually the minimum, so that I can get to know your dog and the walk can become part of their routine. However, I understand that this isn’t possible for everyone. Please do get in touch if you have a specific request.

Can you offer a discount?

Because of my commitment to only walking in small groups I am unable to give discounts. Multi-dog houses will be charged at the group walk rate.

Are there any dogs you don’t accept?

I’ll always do what I can to help new dogs settle in and love their walks, but unfortunately I can’t take dogs who show signs of aggression, or dogs who are particularly difficult to walk on a lead. On group walks it’s very important that the dogs get on with each other, so if a dog is particularly disruptive to the group I may recommend a solo walk instead. Because of my insurance, I may refuse to walk an un-neutered male dog if they display any disruptive behaviours or a female dog while they are in season.

Are you insured?

Yes, I’m fully insured, DBS checked and Canine First Aid trained.
